The oldest of 4 children, Lindsay Lohan was born and raised in Long Island, New York with comfortable surroundings. LOhan began modeling at the age of three and originally had trouble booking jobs. The popularity of blonde hair and blue eyes in both fashion and advertising made things even more difficult. In time Lindsay landed over 100 print ads for Toys R Us and also worked a small stint as a Calvin Klein children's model. She soon branched out to appear in commercials and even shared the spotlight with Bill Cosby.
At the age of 11 she started filming The Parent Trap which soon led to a 3 film deal with Disney. One of those films was Freaky Friday, opposite Jamie Lee Curtis, which rocketed her career even further. She continued to grow as an actress and took a roll in Tina Fey's Mean Girls and then Herbie, Fully Loaded. Lindsay now has 4 film projects in the works along with a mountain of scripts that are offered to her every week. Her acting career is only expected to grow by leaps and bounds.
Lindsay was not content to only be an actress and also decided to dive head first into the music industry. While not popular to the levels of Britney Spears, Lindsay has enjoyed great success from her efforts. She has announced that a third album is in the works and may be released in late 2006.
One cannot talk about Lindsay Lohan without mentioning the media attention she generates. At a young age she was spotted entering and leaving clubs and was quickly dubbed a party girl. Her association with Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Nicky Hilton combined with numerous fender benders only solidified her place as a prime paparazzi target.
